I tried hard to make money selling information products on the Internet - I took the courses, bought the products, but I always seemed to be several steps behind everyone else! I would be just starting to promote what everyone else had bought last week.
Yet working full-time and still wanting an extra income, I needed to find a way to earn money that I could do from home, sitting at my computer, late at night when the kids had gone to bed.
Being very non-techy, I managed to put together a website, but it was pretty basic. (I hope you'll visit it later, and view it sympathetically.) When I listened to all the courses I'd bought, they seemed to over-estimate my HTML skills, or my capacity and time for learning how to do it. What I really wanted was a sales website ready developed for me, that incorporated a repeat emailing system and all the other clever things that every-one but me seems able to churn out in a couple of hours.
Another problem I found with the information products so commonly promoted is that many are of limited appeal - i.e. appealing to other Internet marketers. I was interested in something that would appeal to the general public too, widening my target market. And have you seen the excellent quality of the products that sell for 99c on eBay? Yes, I could write ebooks and sell them on eBay, but how much work did I need to do for 99c? Even for twenty 99c sales! The courses make it sound so easy, and I had a go; but I spent a week writing an ebook, on a subject in which I had specialist knowledge, and my sales have been pitiful.
Surely there was something that would have wide scale, world-wide appeal, with a ready made website, bring me repeat business (vital) and that didn't need me to leave the house? What I found fitted all these criteria, but would it make money for affiliate marketers?
Yes - because you can send any of your lists details of a FREE competition entry and on average 6% who enter the competition will then buy your product and earn you money week after week with no further effort on your part. Most don't buy on the first mailing, but once they're on the list they'll receive further, professionally written, mailings automatically. Someone started earning me money over two years after he first joined my list - long after I'd personally stopped contacting him.
Since I discovered this, over three years ago, I've been receiving a regular monthly cheque from this one programme and it's all profit now. No new products to buy - after the first sale, it's all repeat business.
To look at affiliate marketing in a new way visit my website where you can receive more, in-depth, articles - COMPLETELY free of charge and with no obligation. Contact me by email if you'd be interested in a joint venture. Don't forget to enter the free competition too!

Why eBay is the Greatest Opportunity on the Internet
Autor: gbm000 :: View PDF :: Print View
Have you found it difficult to make money on the internet? If so, you're not alone.
Whilst the internet is an incredible animal, in my opinion it is becoming increasingly difficult to find ways and means of making a decent income via internet marketing.
It used to be that many people in internet marketing could earn big money by following the ideas promoted by the early adopters on the net. But the internet marketplace has begun to resemble to network marketing. In other words, if you are high enough in the internet pyramid, you can look forward to earning a good slice of income.
As more and more people have piled in, looking to make money from the internet space, the competition continues to grow exponentially. And with most people in internet marketing following the principles put forward by a handful of so called gurus, it isn't surprising that few are these followers are doing well.
The irony is that as the internet space gets more crowded, this brings greater opportunity to those of us who recognize how to take advantage of it.
Think about this...
The number of websites continues to grow to dizzying numbers. When you went onto Google's search engine, they used to show how many pages it had indexed. But it got silly, and they stopped showing the number some years ago when it went over 2 billion!
Just imagine, you set up a website to sell something. You build a really great looking website. Your products are stunning, and your pricing is unbeatable. Whoopee, you're going to make your fortune!
The only problem is that nobody on the internet knows your site exists. You can try spending that fortune you haven't got, on getting your website noticed - if you wish.
Or, and here's a little idea for you, you could take your products and place them on a website which already gets massive internet traffic. And then all you have to do is attract a tiny fraction of that traffic to take a look at your proposition.
I know what I would rather do.
And that, ladies and gentleman, is what eBay offers you.
Why set up a new website and try and compete with the giants who have unlimited marketing budgets?
Why try and sell anything from a website that gets zero traffic?
eBay is already there, is known the world over and gets billions of visitors each month.
If you have good products at good pricing, your ONLY challenge with eBay is to use smart techniques to channel some of their traffic to see your offerings.
There is plenty of information freely available on the internet to show you how to get your share of eBay's traffic.
If you want to make money on the internet, the choice is yours. You can compete with 2 billion plus other websites, or you can attach yourself to the coat tails of eBay.

Getting Wholesale Distributors Business
Autor: Boricua :: View PDF :: Print View
Having a wholesale business is not for everyone. For me the idea of making a living from the comfort of my own home was the selling point. Running an online whole sale business has its advantages and disadvantages, and unfortunately not many wholesale sources will prepare you for the realities. I have been in the wholesale business for many years now, selling to various online stores and eBay. In early 2005 I opened up my own business. On a daily basis current clients and customers asked me questions about the process; three questions came up time after time.
Before selling on the Internet I have to have a tax Id or re-selling license right? Not necessarily. As an entrepreneur myself it disturbs me to see so many rising entrepreneurs taken in by this untruth. There are a lot of companies that will let you sell their full inventory of tangible merchandise on the Internet free of charge. As do many distributors, wholesalers and liquidation centers.
When I first started out I did not have a Tax ID or Re-selling License. That did not stop me from raking in the money online. Large corporations that are moving up in search engine ladders want to secure their spots and by leading you to believe you have to have a Tax ID or Re-selling License they prevent you from competing against them. In order to comply with certain tax laws some states will require you to be registered once meeting a certain total in sales. You do not want to get in trouble with Uncle Sam please confirm with your local state government before making 100,000.
What do I need to do to start my own online mini-mall? Many online courses will claim to have the answers you need. You could waste thousands of dollars and precious time looking for the right answer, like I did when first starting out. The truth is not as complicated as you may have been lead to believe, selling online is simple. You can make a living online from the sell of tangible items on eBay or you own mini-mall. Either way you have the potential to make thousands of dollars a month. When starting with a low budget its important to get suggestions from trusted entrepreneurs in the business that have already tested facts. The most important advice I can give you is- to stay focused, have a well thought out complete business plan and take action!
Wow, sounds simple is that it? Not just yet. Your plan of attack is just the first step you now need to have the right connections and resources. Remember the goal is to get the best advice and the highest market prices for your items. The easiest way to achieve this is to find a wholesale list and focus on finding the correct distributors or distributor channels to get your tangible items or drop shipping secured. That is all for today, continue visiting my lessons to learn more about how to choose the correct distributor channels to make money from your very first moment of your retail ventures.

How to Legally Sell an Affiliate Product on eBay
Autor: gbm000 :: View PDF :: Print View
If you're involved as an affiliate for any product, you've probably wrestled with how you can sell the product on eBay.
After all, eBay offers you a massive potential audience of 168 million members. And people who read about your product will likely have found it by searching, thus saying they are interested in the product area in which your product resides.
The bad news, however, is that there is no easy way to market affiliate products on eBay!
First of all, if you haven't heard of affiliate selling, here's a very quick description of how it works.
Fundamentally, selling an affiliate product requires that you get interested buyers to click on a special link. This link takes the person to the product owner's sales page. More importantly, the link also contains your unique affiliate code. It is this code which ensures that sales made from your introductions are recorded in your affiliate account. Finally, if your prospect purchases the product, it is the owner who handles product delivery and who also pays you your sales commission payment.
On eBay, you could easily set up an auction saying how marvelous your affiliate product is. You will certainly attract a number of people who would be interested in buying. The problem is, you have no legitimate way of selling it to eBay members!
This is because it's against eBay's rules to have a link in your auction page which takes your readers away to another website to make a sale. So, you can't just create a sales page with your affiliate link.
Also, if you think about it, you don't even have the affiliate product to deliver. There's no mechanism for you to make the sale on eBay, and deliver the product. If you recall, this is handled automatically by the product owner.
So here are two ways in which you can tap into the eBay market with your affiliate products.
1. The Simple System
You create an auction which explains the benefits of the affiliate product you're promoting. This would be the normal sales page for the product you're promoting.
But what do you offer on your eBay auction?
What you sell is the information on where to get hold of this superb product. And you "sell" this knowledge for just one penny.
Whenever someone "buys" your information, you send them an email saying thank you for your purchase. You then explain they don't really need to send you a penny, and you give them the link to the fantastic product in which they've expressed an interest.
Of course, the link is YOUR affiliate link.
By the way, in your auction description page please think of a new angle for the product. You'll find almost everybody who is an affiliate for any popular product will be using the suggested sales material supplied by the product owner.
If you use the standard sales pitch, you will just appear to be one of many. Your interested purchaser has probably seen some of these already. Why should they take notice of you?
Lace your auction description with personal and credible information about the product, and you will get some of those prospective buyers to go with you.
Incidentally, you could find that your one penny auctions are removed by eBay. After all, a one penny auction doesn't bring eBay very much by way of listing or final value fee.
If this happens to you, you could try system 2 below, and you can also place your one penny auction on other auction sites such as Yahoo, Amazon, QXL etc
2. The Not as Simple System
With this system, you need to do a little research before you launch your eBay auction for your affiliate product.
The objective here is to create a package of items which are related to your affiliate products, and which you auction at 99 cents or 99 pence.
First off, you need to create a 2 or 3 page report about your affiliate product. Ideally this should be based on your personal experience with the product. Failing that, it should be written in your own personal style. The key points are that these are your own words, and the report includes your affiliate link to the product.
The next step is to find other items for your "package". You do this by using Google search to locate related free products.
Let's suppose you're an affiliate for an ebook which teaches how to paint and draw figures. On Google you would search for something like - figure drawing free.
It took me under 10 minutes to locate the following freebies:
Photographing Your Artwork (free ebook)
3D Figure Drawing Studio software (free trial)
How to Sell Your Art (free newsletter)
And there are many more you could unearth given a little more research time. Be a little careful in your selection - you don't want to give away something which will compete with your affiliate ebook.
Having found your items, what you now do is bundle them up and add them to your 2/3 page report. You then create an auction which offers the whole package for 99 cents or pence.
There's no way eBay can possibly object to this auction.
As you can see, all it really takes to get your affiliate product in front of eBay's massive market place is a little creativity.

Ebay Selling 101: Things A Seller Should Know Before Selling On Ebay
Autor: pilkster :: View PDF :: Print View
Nowadays, eBay is becoming a fast increasing market for online shoppers. It gives them the convenience and feasibility of shopping online.
However, it is the seller that benefits most of the time as they find selling things on eBay a lucrative way of earning additional wages. But before a seller logs in and sell his or her items on eBay, there are some things that needs to be done first, here's how:
1. Sellers must know the rules.
It is extremely important for sellers to know first the rules and regulations of eBay concerning items to be sold and the transaction method. This is one way of protecting themselves so as to avoid fraudulent activities.
2. They should know their market.
Before selling, a seller should first contemplate on what type of market is she or he aiming at. If the sellers know who their target market is, it would be easier for them to think of effective words to use on their descriptive title and the details of their items.
3. They should know the selling fees.
It's a must for them to know how much the selling fees of eBay are so that they may include this on the initial price of their item.
4. They should know the available payment scheme.
The sellers should know these first so that they can assess which type of payment mode are they comfortable with. After all, they should stress this out when posting their items on sale.
5. They should know how to make an account.
It is, indeed, important for the seller to know first the basic procedures of creating an account on eBay before selling an item. No one can go start selling an item right away without having an account on eBay.
They should know how to register first. They can do this by going to the eBay website and set up a seller's account by entering some pertinent information like a valid credit/debit card account or bank account. Though, they may opt for an alternative if they are not comfortable doing this. They may opt to become ID verified as a substitute.
For payment purposes, they should also know how to open a PayPal account.
Also, they should know first what kind of format to use, the category of the item, how to write the title and the specifications of the sale, item description, how to increase the item's visibility, and how to contact the winning bidder before starting to post an item on eBay.
If all of these things are already clear on the seller, then posting an item on eBay will never be a problem. It's that easy!

It Is That Easy Registering on eBay
Autor: tridztan View PDF :: Print View
It is that easy registering on eBay, many people keep complaining of the fact that, the eBay registration process is the reason they have still not joined the online auction site. I hope after reading this, the perception of most people about eBay's registration process will change.
Registering on eBay is very simple, provided you follow all the guidelines, you will be registered and become a member in no time. EBay members after joining the auction site can search and browse the various categories available to buy or sell.

Instead of the above, we're going to include a little about ourselves, links to our eBay auctions AND a link to a Clickbank product which compliments the items we are selling in our eBay listings
How to promote Clickbank products using eBay - Method #2
Leverage the potential of your auction buyers - Your auction buyers are the perfect people to market to. They have already bought from you and if the transaction was pleasant, then they are likely to trust you and be more likely to buy what you recommend.
After they have purchased a product from you, email them to let them know their product will be shipped shortly and that in the meantime they might like to check out this eBook all about... (here you include a short description of the product you are recommending and then your affiliate link)
How to promote Clickbank products using eBay - Method #3
Distributing viral reports - This is my favourite method of promoting Clickbank and I try to distribute as many eBooks as possible in as short a time as possible. eBay is excellent for this method because of the number of sellers looking for new products to sell. All you need to do is choose a Clickbank product to promote, write a short report on a similar subject and sell it on eBay for cheap.
For example, you choose a product all about weight loss. You could write a short 8-12 page report about healthy eating, add your affiliate links and sell on eBay for $1. Your buyers will then resell it and their buyers and eventually thousands of people will have read your eBooks and tens of people bought through your affiliate link.
There are three excellent ways to promote Clickbank products using eBay but they will only make you money if you put them into ACTION.

Clickbank is a huge info product marketplace which allows affiliates to easily locate and promote the best selling eBooks from all over the world in hundreds of different niches. It's an excellent resource for all online marketers and some are making thousands of dollars DAILY just by promoting other people's stuff. Wouldn't it be great if you could use eBay to achieve results like these?

EBay Income Possibilities
Autor: jonsav :: View PDF :: Print View
If you have ever read an article about eBay, you will have seen the kinds of incomes people make. It is not unusual to hear of people making thousands of dollars per month on eBay.
Next time you are on eBay, take a look at how many PowerSellers there are: you will find quite a few. Now consider that every single one of them must be making at least $1,000 per month, as that is eBays requirement for becoming a PowerSeller.
Silver PowerSellers make at least $3,000 each month, while Gold PowerSellers make more than $10,000, and the Platinum level is $25,000. The top ranking is Titanium PowerSeller, and to qualify you must make at least $150,000 in sales every month!
The fact that these people exist gives you some idea of the income possibilities here. Most of them never set out to even set up a business on eBay, they simply started selling a few things, and then kept going.
There are plenty of people whose full time job is selling things on eBay, and some of them have been doing it for years now. Can you imagine that? Once they have bought the stock, everything else is pretty much pure profit for these people, they do not need to pay for any business premises, staff, or anything else. There are multi million pound businesses making less in actual profit than eBay PowerSellers do.
Even if you do not want to quit your job and really go for it, you can still use eBay to make a significant second income. You can pack up orders during the week and take them down to the post office for delivery each Saturday. There are few other things you could be doing with your spare time that have anywhere near that kind of earning potential.
What is more, eBay does not care who you are, where you live, or what you look like: some PowerSellers are very old, or very young. Some live out in the middle of nowhere where selling on eBay is one of the few alternatives to farming or being very poor. eBay tears down the barriers to earning that the real world constantly puts up. There is no job interview and no commuting involved, if you can post things, you can do it.
Put it this way: if you know where to get something reasonably cheaply that you could sell, then you can sell it on eBay, and since you can always get discounts for bulk at wholesale, that is not exactly difficult. Buy a job lot of something in demand cheaply, sell it on eBay, and you are making money already, with no set up costs.
If you want to dip your toe in the water before you commit to actually buying anything, then you can just sell things that you have got lying around in the house. Search through that cupboard for stuff you never use, and you will probably find you have got a few hundred dollars worth of stuff lying around in there! This is the power of eBay: there is always someone who wants what you are selling, whatever it might be, and since they have come looking for you, you do not even need to do anything to get them to buy it.
So you want to get started on eBay? Well, that is great! There are only a few little things you need to learn to get started.

How To Open A Ebay Store...
Autor: speed :: View PDF :: Print View
Ebay has provided quite a bit of opportunities for people to succeed. You can even create your own online store with Ebay, for as little as 15.95 dollars a month. Quite a few opportunities are available for those who want to sell on Ebay.
Ebay basically sells items in one of two ways, a fixed price or an auction price. A fixed price is one where the purchaser just buys the product at a standard set selling price. This item can be purchased and the buyer does not have to wait for a certain closing date before purchasing this item.
Furthermore, this item can be shipped immediately upon payment. Items can also be sold in an auction. When items are sold this way, the online Ebay auction usually goes on for a specific number of days.
During this time, which is usually between 3 to 10 days, people will bid, which means to name the price that they would be willing to pay for this item. The item will then go to the highest bidder upon close of the auction.
If you set up your own Ebay store, you can have all the items that you sell, set up right in that store. This provides a way in which you can showcase everything that you sell.
Setting up your own Ebay store also lets others know that have either purchased items from you already or those that want to purchase from you to see all the other great products that you have.
If you decide to set up an Ebay store, you will even reap more profit when you set up a featured store ($49.95). When you set up a featured store you will receive $30.00 worth of pay per click advertising which will help generate more traffic to your site.
This is especially important for those who are dedicated to the product or services that they sell, and who are committed to making the Ebay system work for them. You will also have more pages with a featured store than those who have a basic store because these pages mean more exposure on Ebay for you.
Another benefit of the feature store is that one that delivers you advanced reports which will help you decide on future products to sell in your Ebay store. This will help you plan for improving how you construct your Ebay store pages in order to drive more traffic to your auctions. This will also help you present your items in a more pleasing way in order to increase profit as well.
All those who sell with Ebay and especially those who have their own Ebay stores have a certain amount of seller's protection when they join Ebay. Furthermore, Ebay has a dispute resolution program that helps both buyers and sellers alike. This will help with making Ebay sales as great of an experience that it is meant to be.
For those that want more information regarding Ebay they can go through the Ebay help system to find all the answers to the questions that they have regarding starting a store.
Furthermore, there is an Ebay community of other buyers and sellers that you can interact with. This will help build your report and bring more traffics to your auctions as well.

Finding Hot Selling Items for eBay Auctions
Autor: fredfarah :: View PDF :: Print View
Many people trying to start an eBay business spend a great deal of time trying to figure out which items sell best on eBay. Many of these people have elaborate systems for determining this information, and many others purchase expensive courses that teach them how to find this information as well. None of that is necessary. Everything you need to know is right in front of you – on the eBay website!
Take a look at any category, and you will see the word ‘hot’ beside some items. These items are not marked as hot sellers randomly – there is a method to the madness! Items only get marked as hot when there have been more than thirty bids placed on the item. All you have to do is wander around the eBay website for a while to find an item that will do well.
However, most power sellers will agree that there is more to figuring out which items sell best than this. In fact, they claim that it's a science. A great way to start your search for items that will result in a successful auction in the future is to do research on the auctions that were successful in the past. You can view old listings that have completed at: http://listings.ebay.com
A new way to determine what items sell best on eBay is ‘eBay Marketplace Research.’ Marketplace Research will allow you to view important statistical information on the buying trends at eBay. This product contains all of the data one could possibly ever need to determine how well – or how poorly – an item will do in an eBay auction. There is a small fee for using the eBay Marketplace Research tools,
however.
Another tool that will be very useful in your quest for finding hot selling items for your eBay auctions is the
listing of popular eBay search terms that is found on the site. This list can be found at: http://popular.ebay.com/ This list is divided into categories, which will make it easier to determine how popular your potential item may be.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking that an item will do poorly, or that it will do well without first doing your
homework on the item. Some of the strangest things sell for the highest prices, while items that would sell quickly in any other environment just sit there. Almost any eBay Power Seller will tell you that the key to a successful auction rests in the amount of research you put into the items you hope to sell.

Which Type of eBay Seller are You?
Autor: gbm000 :: View PDF :: Print View
I believe there are four types of sellers operating on eBay.
The distinction between each of these types is quite marked. And the type of seller you are to a large extent determines how successful you're going to be and therefore has an impact on the amount of money you can potentially earn from eBay.
eBay Seller Type 1
Type one's are basically eBay amateurs, or newbies. They run a few auctions and sell a few items. They may operate in a specialist niche, but they aren't interested in replicating their sales in other niches. They may well be happy at this level of eBay activity as they have no aspirations to develop their eBay involvement into a business, whether part or full-time.
eBay Seller Type 2
These eBayers are apparently successful. Many PowerSellers are Type two's. What they do is buy lots of different physical products to sell on eBay. Their time is taken in purchasing products, receiving and storing goods, managing auctions, packaging items and shipping products.
They may be doing well financially, but they work long hours, are tied to their eBay and find it difficult to take a holiday.
eBay Seller Type 3
These are sellers who have found a way to be highly successful in a single category or niche, and they deal in volume. For example, they might sell DVDs or computer memory. They beat off competition from other sellers who offer similar or identical products, normally by aggressive pricing. Such sellers are often held out as the best examples of people making money out of eBay. They have significant turnover, and thousands or even hundreds of thousands of feedback. They can also have employees on their books.
Although successful financially, the truth is they are totally tied to eBay and, like type two's, find it difficult to fit in a vacation.
eBay Seller Type 4
Type 4 sellers use eBay for what it is - an amazingly powerful marketing tool. For Type fours, eBay is a means to an end, and that end isn't running thousands of auctions concurrently. The end is to create an internet business of which eBay is one element.
Type fours are information sellers. But they are different to most information sellers out there in that what they offer is usually unique and often self-created.
Type fours know that eBay is great place to sell, but realise that it's an even better source of leads for other sales. They treat each visitor to their eBay auctions as prospects. These sellers will try and encourage each prospect to buy from their eBay auction, to visit their website where other items are for sale and to encourage the visitor to leave their email address so that more offers can be made to them in future.
Type four sellers see eBay as a building block, not the end of the line.

How eBay Can Help Your Small Business
Autor: gbm000 :: View PDF :: Print View, s
As you will know, eBay gets serious traffic. In fact, something like 2 million individual buyers visit eBay each day ready to make bids and purchases online.
And eBay is more than just oddities and collectibles - it is huge, huge business. In the first quarter of 2006, eBay members sold around $12.5 billion dollars worth of goods and services to over 193 million registered users.
What I find difficult to understand is why businesses of all sizes don't use eBay more as an additional channel to sell their wares.
If you have expertise in selling on eBay, then you are nicely positioned to take that experience and apply it to the benefit of your business or your employer's business.
If you own a business which doesn't use eBay, you really should be putting your eBay skills to good use. Or if you work for a company, why not offer an eBay service to your employer in return for a commission or other payment?
This doesn't mean that anyone should neglect their current marketing and sales methods and transfer everything to eBay. eBay should be viewed as a new and different channel to market. As you know, eBay is a receptive market which is massive, and upon which there are many ways to make it work for your business or your employer's company.
If you're the owner or employee in a bricks-and-mortar business such as a retail outlet, eBay can be a great source of extra sales.
Since you're already buying wholesale for your local market, it doesn't take a lot of extra effort to offer your goods online as well. This is especially effective for locally made, unique, or specialty items.
If you can ship your items for a reasonable price to customers who can't find it anywhere else, it would be quite easy to make additional profits.
And whether you have an online OR offline business, eBay is a great place to clear out old stock, and overstocks.
The same goes for returns or damaged stock. As long as you're honest about the condition and pay attention to your customer service, you can start building a reputation in the eBay community that will lead to more sales down the road.
No matter what kind of business you have (even if you don't have your own business yet!), with a market of 193 million eager buyers just waiting for your offer, eBay is one of the easiest ways to develop an extra revenue stream and boost your sales and profits each year!

Desperate For Money? Try Selling on eBay!
Autor: auctionenterprise :: View PDF :: Print View
Everyone knows that the potential to earn a long term income from the world's leading auction site - eBay - is tremendous, but sometimes people don't want a long term income, they just want, or desperately need, a quick influx of cash.
It's happened to hundreds of thousands of people before; they get into debt, they need quick cash for a birthday, Christmas, or they may just want to buy that car they always dreamed of but need the money quick.
Whatever the situation is, eBay is an absolute goldmine if you are looking to make some quick cash. Many people look to the internet to make money, by setting up websites they think they can make thousands of dollars in just a few hours. Little do they realise that they won't make any money, unless they are really lucky.
EBay is different to setting up websites however. On eBay the traffic is instant. EBay generates the traffic for you and it's up to you to maximise it's potential, whereas with websites it takes time to get indexed in the search engines or to get traffic from links back to your site.
So, we've established that eBay is the ideal resource to use when we're in desperate need for quick cash and just do not know what else to do.
I believe there to be two methods of making quick money from eBay.
Firstly, sell absolutely anything and everything you can find around your house that you no longer need, or use, or could do without. It has been estimated that each home in the US has at least $5000 of products that are unused or no longer needed. Instead of letting them clutter up the house and gather dust, why not make use of them and sell them on eBay to raise some quick cash.
Method two involves selling eBooks on eBay. You can pick up eBooks with resale rights for a couple of dollars - or even for free - and resell them on eBay for 100% profits. The best part about this is that you can resell the eBook over and over and over as many times as you like.
Once you have one hot selling eBook, get another and another and another and continue to sell them on eBay.
You'll be amazed at the speed in which you can find, list and profit from these eBooks over and over again.
So, next time you're desperate for cash, consider eBay.

4 Masterful Ways to Brand Your eBay Business
Autor: auctionenterprise :: View PDF :: Print View
In today's business world - and especially on eBay - branding is an essential part of success. It helps to differentiate the poor and mediocre sellers from the platinum power sellers. By creating a brand image, you are giving an impression of professionalism to your customers and they are more likely to trust you and therefore buy products from you. This article plans to outline the four major ways that will enable you to brand your eBay business and keep customers returning to your auctions for more.
The first and most important way to brand your eBay business is to select a relevant eBay username. Your username should give your potential customers an immediate idea of what you are selling. Don't use personal username such as your nickname as this does not create a professional image. If you sell electronics, then choose a username that displays this fact. Branding begins with an eBay username so choose yours wisely!
Secondly, an eBay auction template that can be applied to all of your listings will help you build a branded business image. If all of your auctions have the same design and follow the same format then your potential customers will recognize this and realise that you are a serious eBay seller. You can use the free templates provided by eBay, however I recommend that you invest in a professional designed and unique template so that your business has a unique image.
Thirdly, an eBay about me page is imperative. On your page you should include an image of your business logo, a background of your business, your mission statement and the morals of your business. This will develop a relationship with your customers and again, further enhance your eBay businesses brand image.
Finally, after making an eBay sale you have to distribute the item to the customer. 'Ordinary' eBay sellers would simply send the item and be done with it, but that's not good if you want to brand your eBay business. With the eBay item you should send some sort of leaflet or business card so that your customers can stay in contact with you or pass on your information to their friends. This way you can further market your eBay business logo and continue to build your brand image and also generate new customers and repeat customers.
These 4 principles of branding your eBay business are essential if you plan on developing an established business on eBay over the next few years.

The Success Factor: Finding Your Niche on eBay

You've spent a day or maybe two or three cruising around eBay. You even registered and bought that iPod skin your niece wants for her birthday. Now it's time to get down to business; that is, your business. Just exactly what is it that you are going to sell on eBay? The right choice of product is one of the most important decisions you will make when you become an eBay seller. If you are already successfully selling products in a different environment, it is still important to select that perfect product from among your wares that is best suited to your eBay audience.
It is true that many people clean out their closets and turn a tidy penny auctioning off their loot on eBay. However, the day is long past when any moldy old pair of shoes from the back of the closet would be snapped up by an eager eBay buyer. Even if you did make a killing with last year's snow boots, the detritus from your storage unit doesn't make for much of a business plan. There are many people though who have built eBay businesses selling the contents of other people's closets for them so that is one area at which you might want to look.
When considering your product, think along these lines:
Do you want to sell an item which reflects a personal passion? Hobbies are the basis for many eBay success stories as are personal interests such as a specific period in history or a style in fashion.
Do you want to serve as a conduit for other people to sell their products on eBay? Stores to which individuals consign their items are mushrooming throughout the country. This sort of eBay store, however, can be both labor and capital intensive. You will also need to have a solid knowledge base of eBay expertise or employ someone who has the know how.
Do you want to expand your current bricks and mortar customer base by establishing an eBay presence? eBay is an excellent way to quickly implement an online strategy.
Do you want to purchase items and resell them on eBay? You can accomplish this goal by purchasing single pieces that you scout out or by being a drop ship merchant. Picking up wholesale lots is another way of being a reseller.
Now you are well on your way to discovering your route to eBay success. Once you have narrowed down possibilities for the kind of eBay merchant you want to be, it is time to do more online research. It may seem to you that a lot of time is being spent just looking around and getting a feel for the terrain. You will find though that tomorrow?s eBay success is founded on today's eBay research.

How To Use eBay To Find The Books You Are Searching For At The Lowest Prices
Autor: teahupoo :: View PDF :: Print View
Many people would like to know how to buy and sell products on eBay and would like any easy way to learn how to do so. Selling and buying products on eBay can be very difficult for a person to learn. There can be many different ways on how one can learn how to use eBay. One method seems to work really well and is fairly simple to use.
The first and most important thing to realize is that you can get a summary of all the hottest areas where things are selling the most. This may seem really easy and it is. But you can also use your own judgment and go and see the trends being set and go from there also. You just need to use your own judgment and do what you feel is best in this situation.
To be able to search on eBay you need to know your keyword term. Once you know this you type in that keyword term + eBook. For example if you were searching for litter training cats you would type "litter training cats eBook". You will more than likely find one book that will help you out but more often than none you will end up finding more than one book that will suit you. All you have to do is pick and choose which one or ones you want.
What you need to do next is to select a few things that match what you are looking for. Once you have done this bring up the auction and start to bid on the items you want. Make sure that you search all auctions and then you can look at a complete outcome of the things being sold. You can also get a picture of all of the action that is going on.
If you use this information to your advantage then you will be making informed decisions and will get what you need. It is all a matter of knowing what you are doing on eBay and using it to your advantage to out smart the other people. Using eBay can, in the long run, help you get things done faster. All you need to do is know how to use eBay to your advantage.
Using eBay can be a tricky thing but if you know what you are doing then it is really not that bad to use. It is fairly simple to figure out and will help you in the long run. The computer has many sources like eBay that can help you buy things on line but so far eBay has been the easiest to figure out how to use it. If you use eBay right it will save you a lot of hassle down the road.

Every Top Seller on Ebay Knows This

Ebay selling tips are plastered all over the internet. Huge promises are made, though seldom are they ever kept, and millions of dollars change hands trying to get the most out of the Ebay experience. An Ebay business is conceptually very simple. With the vast amount of competition and the growing trend Ebay is still experiencing, Ebay can be a very difficult method of earning a living.

Online auction software is becoming one of the fastest growing Ebay trends on the internet today. If the software supplies the services you need, then it can really help you toward a lucrative and successful Ebay business. A lot of the online auction software promises a lot but delvers very little. The online auction software is designed basically to give you more repeat buyers in your Ebay store as well as promote you and your store more professionally.
When Ebay came out with its Buy it New and Buy it Now Section, a lot of potential Ebay sellers became intimidates with the implications. Why would anyone choose to go through the auction process when they can just go into the Ebay store and purchase what they want for a fixed price?
This is where good solid Ebay selling tips as well as quality online auction software can really help the beginning Ebay seller excel in the process. Ebay is destined for changes just like all large companies. When you are in business by yourself, you have to learn to renegotiate any changes that come along. If you have a reputable place to receive quality Ebay selling tips, they make it their business to understand the changes as they come along and help you through them. If you have exceptional online auction software already in place, you are already three steps ahead of the rest of the Ebay sellers who have to revamp their entire business every time a change in the company takes place.
A good online auction software program will offer more than just the software, but will help you successfully implement it and utilize its potential as well. Fortunately those programs are out there and you can take full advantage of them as soon as you are ready.
With Ebay seller tips littering the internet, how do you know that this information can be taken at face value? That really depends on you. If you are interested in growing your Ebay business, or just starting one from scratch, then all you have to do is put in a few hours of research and you'll know what's right for you.
Those Ebay seller tips that command you to act or you will miss out on this or that are really nothing more than hype designed to get you to purchase something. An Ebay seller tip that doesn't leave you the option (or the credit) to make up your own mind really isn't worth listening to in the first place, is it?

Why not Sell Internationally on eBay?
Autor: gbm000 View PDF :: Print View
One of the incredible aspects about eBay can be demonstrated by the volumes involved.
Currently, there are 168 million eBay members - people who have registered to buy and/or sell. eBay.com is currently the 10th most visited site on the internet as measured by http://www.alexa.com. In the UK, www.eBay.co.uk is 102 on the alexa list.
The USA auction market is around ten times the size of the UK market. (Based on the number of items on auction at the time of writing - 1,105,667 on UK eBay and 11,025,326 on eBay.com)
In fact eBay has 27 different country sites.
If you're a seller, it may pay you to consider making your items available to the wider eBay market. Of course you need to consider issues such as delivery costs, export and import regulations and other matters. But if your items can be easily packaged, or are digital, and if the winners anyway are paying for the postage, you really should consider making them available to eBay bidders world-wide.
The way you do this is relatively easy. When completing the Sell pages to create an auction, on the Shipping page, either tick the box that says "Will post worldwide", or check the countries to whom you wish your item to be made available.
You should also give an idea in your auction description of the shipping costs relating to the countries you are willing to post to.
Selling internationally doesn't cost any more in terms of fees, and it exposes your item to a massive new market.
Definitely worth a try with the right items.
